Probably two decades ago my sister-in-law made this recipe using canned chicken. Before I left for college I got the recipe from her because it was just that good. I've adapted her recipe to use venison breakfast sausage. It's really simple with canned crescent dough, cream cheese, and chopped mushrooms, broccoli, and bell pepper. And it's purdy, too.
