    My rabbit hutch

I have been debating raising meat rabbits for a bit. Finally broke down and started my hutch . Have only been able to work on it in the evenings after work the last three days . Plan to have three or four does and one or two bucks for now .
Just need to make the dividers and roof then it will be ready for rabbits . Each pen will be 24x30x16

Rabbit pens look great, the only thing to consider would be to but the mesh wire on the inside so they don't chew all your wood up. Rabbits sure do taste good on the grill!

That looks great! I'm attempting to build one myself for the meat rabbits we are fixing to recieve for our fair coming up. I'm no carpenter and mine doesn't resemble anything like yours!!! Lol!!

I see you got some help with a marker!

Looks like my projects when the young ones "help"

            Looks good bud

You only need one buck no need to waste cage space on a second one

I sure do . My 4 year old girl helps with almost every project . She said she had to draw a picture for the rabbits to look at . Such a sweet girl .

I'm pretty sure I'm going to eat the second buck . It's a two for one kinda deal . Old man was thinning his pens out .

looks great, maybe you can add a rabbit "pellet" catch trough that allows this fertilizer to be caught in a bucket, rather than just on the ground

How are you going to protect them from the elements?

Looks great! I'm trying to convince my darling wife to let us get rabbits as well. I'm no carpenter at all so I'm stupidly jealous of how good your hutch looks.

I still have to build the roof . Not sure if I'm going with tin or a old political sign . The hutch is in the shade for most of the day other then early morning .
