I was able to hang out and hunt with the Meangreen couple, they both shot some very impressive bucks at the ranch. As they said, Skylar did not fail to impress and, as always, was a great host.
I finally got some vacation time so I was able to come back to TX for a little over two weeks. Prior to hunting at Diamond C, I spent some time at my sister's place in Waxahachie. She has 10 acres outside of town which is surrounded by lots of farms and wooded areas. She said she's never seen hogs out there but I got lucky one morning when my 4 year old nephew said there's pigs in the yard. Long story short, they ran into the back pasture and I was able to track them down....

I headed out to the Diamond C a little over a week after I killed that hog. It had been about 6 years since I hunted with Skylar and things had changed a lot. I was super impressed with the bunkhouse and the ranch had seemed to grow quite a bit.
I was after a blackbuck which has eluded me for years now, it seemed as though I was jinxed. With Skylar's help my luck changed and I was able to bag this nice BB on my 4th sit in the blind...
I had a great time and saw several nice animals every sit. I highly recommend the Diamond C and I will be going back sometime in the near future.
