    weight/speed combo

Ok. This may be obvious. I just want to know what you guys think.
Which combination would you rather use?

    565gr @ 164 fps

    VS

    610gr @ 158 fps

Same arrow, same broadhead. Weight varies by length of the arrow and extra insert weight.

I would use the 610 (because that is about how much my arrows weigh) but it all depends on which one you have more confidence in. I've noticed that I tend to have more confidence when I shoot heavier arrows which makes my shooting better just for the fact that I have that extra confidence...

In this case I would go with the heavier arrow due to the significate increase in FOC.

In my opinion. there's really not enough difference in MO & KE to be noticeable between the two.

As Ben said, the increased FOC might help some on the one, but not knowing what the FOC is on either, I couldn't say. I can tell you, that with my rigs I have never seen a penetration increase between a 15% FOC & a 30% FOC arrow. I like to be around 15 - 20% just because I like the way they fly there.

          Interesting....

I came up with a 24.3% foc on the heavy arrow and 22.0 on the lighter one.

Not knowing anything else, I would probably go with the 565gr arrow. Both of those are pretty heavy arrows.

Then there again, there's not enough difference there to be able to notice a difference in penetration.

6 fps is noticeable in trajectory, but it isn't much at hunting distances.

I'm with Bisch on this one, BUT you need to shoot the one you feel best about. Only way to know that is to shoot & compare them side by side.
