    I need Help, please

I need help! I got a new place to hunt. It is 150 acres that has not really been hunted on very much. It has never had feeders or blinds on it at all. With all the rain it is overgrown. very thick in some areas and open in some. It is hard to look at google maps then when I get there it is so different. I saw lots of Hog signs and saw 3 different groups of Deer just walking around. Need advice on how and where to put stuff and what to look for.
    thanks for your help.

Really would need a google map of the place to make suggestions or at least a description of the property. I hunt two places that are similar in size and are about 1 mile long by about 150 yards wide. Both places I have feeders at each end and one in the middle. When looking for the location for the feeders, I try to find spots were the wind will be consistent and I can enter the spot without going through a bedding area. I also have stands on trails between the feeders for those bucks that just don't like to come to feeders during the season.

Look for trails and use as many game cams as possible. Make small piles of corn with game cams and this will give you an idea of which direction they're coming from

We also use game camera in new spots to test the game movement in new acreages, we place seaveral around in places we consider for possible stand placement. Also get a camera on any water source you have this will help you see the number of game moving through your place.
The cameras are easier to move around and will always show what's traveling through your spots to help you figure where to place stands feeders etc.
Also theirs always big benefit in just walking and scouting place on foot.
Hope you can find your ideal spot and get setup for next season, good luck.

Check the wind--put stands/feeders where you will have the most favorable access with out scent drifting into the travel routes, stand areas and bedding areas. I hunt a small place and the prevailing SE winds are problematic--it would be perfect if the winds were E-W, but unfortunately they are not.

Rent a dozer and cut you a couple senderos all the way across in both directions. Set your stand right in the middle with a couple feeders. Get you a road feeder and corn the senderos in all directions out from the stand about 300yds. Then blast away!

I did that already. I put two spots with my my little feed company deer and Hog feed/attractant and game cameras out. I picked out two spots that were in openings but have cover around. I picked these spots because one was close to a pond but close to the front of the property and the second was towards the middle of the property and had game trails going to the area.

10 cameras and put them everywhere then take inventory on what spots have more activity and start from there

Are you interested in deer or hogs?
I would build cattle panel pens and
Try to feed the deer only in a couple of pens. For pigs I would set a feeder near the thickest area and set your stands down wind of the prevailing winds. Set out cameras to see who is getting the corn
Coons will be a problem. There are lots of threads on how to combat them.
I would also plan on hunting my best acorn areas.
                    Good luck.
