    Boehner endorses Ryan for POTUS

    LOL

I'm sorry, were we all waiting with baited breath find out who Boehner was endorsing?

The shenanigans are just getting started... they think the "protests" at Trumps rallies were "violent", let them try to pull something like this at the convention.

    holly cow

Former Speaker of the House John Boehner has endorsed current Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) for president, in the event of a brokered convention.

Politico reports that Boehner, speaking at a conference in Boca Raton, Florida, said: “If we don’t have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I’m for none of the above. They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I’m for none of the above. I’m for Paul Ryan to be our nominee.”

poor Kasich... isn't the orange one from Ohio too?

One way or another, the GOP is about to be burned to the ground. Boehner and his establishment buddies have been piling up the wood. Trump came along and poured gas on it. His supporters are now marching in with the torches.

That wouldn't be a bad thing if all it did was get rid of Boehner and the others like him. But Trump is gonna split the GOP into at least 2 parties, one way or another. Either he loses the nomination and goes independent, or he wins it and Boehner and them break away and form a new party. Get ready for decades of Democrat rule as a result (at best).

If we'd only been able to rally the GOP voters around one true conservative in the primary, we would have stood a better chance of keeping the party together while getting rid of the progressive establishment leadership. There's a slim chance that can still happen, but I'm not optimistic about it. This was the perfect year to get that accomplished too. What a crying shame we're about to blow the opportunity.

Wasn't it Bill Clinton who encouraged the donald to run on the GOP ticket? Maybe there's a bigger picture here.

GOP chooses the nominee not the voters.

No, no, no....don't start that. Tumph is truly a changed man. Forget about his past dealings, support and who he was rubbing elbows with. He is a true conservative and will make America great again. And in his own words...We should be honored to vote for him, as him will go down as the greatest America president in history.

Everybody is angry.....Donald is redass salve!

He'll get some votes but not enough to win. Same as Trump and same as if the GOP pulls some trickery at the convention.

I'd call him an idiot if he did that. He won't though. His goal is to actually win. He's not out to destroy the party if he can't.

If it goes brokered, I'm betting good. The establishment wants neither of them.. If they ran independent, as a ticket, they would clean house..
