We have a new axis buck on our land now! No pictures of him before 2/15/16. I'm pretty excited about him. How big do you think he is?

I'd guesstimate 30" wide and 33" tall. May even have a 7th point coming off his right base?
All the axis bucks I saw two weekends ago in Edwards county were at the same growth stage as that one. Ground check him! I'd bet he sheds his velvet in 14-21 days.

That's just about what I figured as well. I hope it's a 7th point! We have a couple with 7 and 8 running around in the fall
