    drop point file knife

I just finished the drop point file knife skinner I have had on the back burner while making the knives for my family members for christmas. I still have to make the sheath but I am pleased with it. The antler is from a deer I killed, the blade is from an old file and the guard is made from an old salt water brass propeller that I found at a junk store. I am still going to inlay a buffalo nickel in the antler base but other than that it is finished. I have about 5 bucks total tied up in it other than all the work, but it should last a lifetime. Hope you all like it, I do.

Finally figured this thing out, and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Finally had time to complete the sheath and the nickel inlay now to take it on a maiden voyage pig hunt.
