Looking for a bow thats easy on old shoulders

Looking for A BOW THATS EASY TO HOLD AT FULL DRAW FOR A BIT.
I have a MATTHEWS z7 EXTREAM SET AT ABOUT 53-54 LBS. It seems that if I
relax at all when I am at full draw it will roll over on me. I have heard the Elite
IMPLUSE IS EASY TO HOLD AT FULL DRAW FOR A WHILE. Looking for Information. Don't want to go any lower on draw weight unless I have to.

    Thanks

Look at a new elite, the letoff and holding weight is pretty awesome. You will get a little less speed with it the Synergy vs the Energy but a slightly smoother draw cycle.

Also, if your current bow has lost it's valley then you may have a cam rotation issue associated with string/cable creep.

Sounds like you need a bow that doesnt have such a short valley. My Heli-M and CRX 32 were the same way. Had to hold back steady

I just got a Bowtech Prodigy (60 lbs). Very easy to pull back and hold and it's maxed out.

I'd look at Hoyt's carbon spyder ..or carbon defiant..they're gona be more expensive but significantly lighter if your off shoulder gives you problems and both have solid back walls and smooth draw cycle..that's just personal preference though...after my shoulder surgery I had more problems with my off shoulder than the one I draw with..The back wall was fine but as soon as my off shoulder started getting tired the bow would start creeping..I prefer a heavier bow but at the time I switched to a much lighter carbon bow and I could hold at full draw quite a bit longer until I got my strength built back up..that's personal experience and preference though, you may not be having that issue but just a suggestion! Hope you find what you're lookjg for!

If you get a chance to shoot a good ol' Mathews Switchback XT you may like that.
                          They're mighty smooth.

Don't forget to checkout Obsession and Xpedition's lineups. Adjustable valley like an elite as well.

I would've never believed it, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
