    Single Pin sights

Looking and switching to single pin sight. What's some opinions on what to buy and price estimate. I need something with a pretty bright pin due to poor eye sight.

I have a PSE Slider II. It was $70 and just as good as the HHA lower model that cost $120. PSE has since upgraded theirs and is now $100. So I would say they will start at $100 and go sharply up. The big names are Spot Hogg, HHA, Montana Black Gold.

PSE X Slider. It's awesome, I prefer the single pin as the sight picture is less crowded. I'm not shooting past 30 so I sight in at 20 and can aim a little high at 30 and a little low at 15 or less. You can dial it to up to 100 yds but I don't shoot those distances.

I have a Copper John, Mark 4, one pin sight. It comes with a sight light. Paid $100 for it. I love it.

Trophy ridge react one is hard to beat IMHO took me 10 mins to sight it in and I'm good to 80yds. Pin brightness is good it can get pretty darn bright if ya need it to.

Montana Black Gold has a light accessory attachment that has an adjustable light. Just make sure you don't turn it on by accident, or the batteries will drain. Also, turn it on before you need to shoot, and keep replacement batteries on hand.

Black Gold - Brightest pins on the market.

Take a look at their adjustable pin light too. It really helps in low light/pop-up blind hunting situations.

Check out ClearShot peeps as well.

The difference in clarity/brightness is amazing.

(Eye color determines what color peep will most likely work best for you.)

They also have an interchangeable peep housing so you can change out peep sizes & colors without installing another peep.

I was shooting the HHA, but put the Axcel Accutouch on my new bow...it's pricey but really nice.

HHA king pin is nice, but all the screws rust. If you change them out with stainless you void there warranty. And the yardage marker is difficult to read for me. I modified mine, but for the $$$ they get for them you should not have to worry about any thing. If I was to do it over spot hog would probably get my money.

Lot of good options. The Hogg Father is a great option though.
