Got a couple of tabs in the mail today

Ordered a couple of tabs to try out

The Saunders one looks like a model kit, all in pieces and a bunch of screws.

Guess I will be reading the instructions later

White Falcon came by and had me shoot bare fingers the other day, they will need some serious toughening up if I planned on doing that much

The Saunders Pak-Tab is my go-to tab! I just take the brown piece with the finger loop and the tan piece and put them together with the short screws. Then put on the finger spacer (cause I shoot split finger), and I am out in the back yard shooting in 10 minutes!

Your tabs are different than what I called a tab back in the day

Don't know if I will like it or not myself. Just starting to play with trad stuff and trying different things to see what I like

Guessing the brown part with loop goes against my hand/fingers and the other three layers are to choose for a face?

That is not how I have mine set up. I have the brown piece with the finger loop against the string, then the tan pice behind that. I use a little as I can and not have pain in my fingers. Here is a pic of mine:

Guess I can try it that way because I have no idea how it is supposed to work

It would not do well to have the felt pcs against the string. The plastic is the slick part, and slick is what you want against the string.

Maybe if you have girly fingers you put that felt on the back side to protect them

That may be, but I don't use any of the felt pcs! I shoot girly weight bows so I don't have to worry about hurting my girly fingers!
