    Inconsistent grouping

My wife picked up a Hoyt rukus set at 40lbs with 26" of draw. She has some Gold Tip Expedition Hunters 3355, a 500 spine, cut at 27 3/4". She can't seem to get a good group, the only thing consistant is that it always is left and low. The sight has been moved as low as it can go and still clear braodheads. The bow was tuned at a local pro shop and sat in the closet for a year or so be for we got ahold of it. The only thing we changed was the draw weight and we lowered the peep a inch or so. Any idea of what might be goin on here? Any help is appreciated

She is left handed if that helps.

sounds like the rest is either too low or the strings stretched. paper tuning is like bore sighting. you should still do another type of tuning to fine tune the bow such as walk back or french tune.

I personally would get it paper tuned again. It could be a combination of an out of tuned bow an possibly something else she is doing.

Why did you lower the peep.

Just going to give something's to check. Get the manufacture spec. Make sure bow is in spec. Now for start. Make sure cams are in sync. Stops hit together. Set center shot. Now is draw length right. Question why you moved peep. Have her draw the bow with eyes closed with good form and head turned and straight. Open eyes is peep in right spot. If she moves her head any it's in wrong place. Again verifi draw is correct. Sting should be at tip of nose. Not in fron or close to face. Knoc should be close to corner of mouth.

Tune it again, spray the fetching with foot powder and check for rest contact, unless you are using something like a whisker buscuit.

Thanks guys, we took it to the shop today and shot it through paper. The rest was a little low and they shortened her d-loop. They also helped her with her form a little, now she's shooting a 2" group at 20 yards. Thanks again for all the Adobe guys.
