    Broad head wight help.

Shooting a 27 in draw @ 60 lbs the arrows are Axis Realtree 500 cut @ 28 in. What weight broad heads should I go with for better accuracy.

    Thanks in advance.

100gr muzzy trocar are some awesome heads. The girlfriend is shooting Easton axis out of a 45 pound bow with the trocars and had a complete pass through on a 200 pound hog. Have heard great things about the ram cats to!

If your arrows are shooting good the shoot them up. But you should be in a 400 spine. Looking at Easton chart arrows needs to be 26 inches to be shooting an 500 spine.

With out going to a special weight heads. 125 gn head.

No problems shooting with great flight with 75 or 100 either. But going up in weight increases f.o.c. The more f.o.c. The better the flight.

Good fixed blade 100gr head. Magnus, Slick Trick, Muzzy, NAP all will get job done.

I shoot the same set up except I shoot Gold Tip XT Hunters 55 / 75
And I'm confident with my set up..

I would stay with 100 grain but I really think your going to have issues getting broadheads to fly with the 500 spine. Imo

My draw length, #60 and arrow length is the same as yours. ICS hunters though.
I shoot 100g slick tricks. Shuttle T lock
                    And rage 2 blade.

I'm wanting to try grim reapers. Just have not bought any.

I do have a set of S.T Vipers, I'll try those before buying another set of heads. I'd really like to try the grim reapers and rages, the look wicked.

                      Thanks for all the help!
