Does anyone have any input on Brushy Hills Ranch in Uvalde County? I have a buddy that is considering going there and it seems a bit too good to be true.

Search for Brushy hill ranch under the forum rate the day lease. There are some really detailed reviews. You will find that they are a really great place to hunt.

I had a good experience there. Not a can hunt that comes easy ad the deer are smart but a very cool place. The pig in my avatar came from there .Comment

Super small world! Thank you Stick-Launcher. ( I actually just moved to Hitchcock/Santa Fe) over close to the Blimp Base. Needed a place to let a 7 year old roam, so I bought 3 acres. Thank you for the info.Comment

Great place and Nick is a cool dude to talk with when he stops by. As said, deer are smart, you're not going to go there and kill something without putting forth some effort. I didn't kill when I went, but I had a spike in range and let it go and was almost in range of a big 8 but he just didn't quite come my way. I would go back tomorrow if I could, definitely recommend the place for a change in pace and a challenge.Comment

Glad to have read this. I have been searching the web for a good bow ranch and I think I am going to book with them this week. Burtonboy, did you see any other deer while you were there or see any other hunters kill?Comment

My bil killed a spike, one of our other hunters killed a doe. There was another large group in camp for one night while we were there and they were seeing lots of deer but I guess nothing big enough for them. One of their guys killed a nice turkey.Comment
