Yes. Getting really close to buying two lots. Then need to pick a builder. Looking for reviews of the builders and any possible cons to living there. Are you negotiating on a build or a completed home?

My wife and I lived in Weston Lakes, just down the road. We loved it out there but ended up selling our house and moving. Traffic and commute into and out of Fulshear was horrible. Ended up finding my wife a job in The Woodlands and move up North.

My parents have a custom built house and I know realtor that has been in the area for ~30yrs that knows the quality of the builders (she has steered us away from homes due to the builder). Do you have a list of builders to choose from or are you looking for recommendations?

I grew up in Fulshear. My parents and brother still live in town. It will always be home.

Im in cross creek, this place is growing like mad. I like fulbrook a lot and wish I had looked there beforehand.
if you commute you better get up early but at least the fishing is great ...

Went through there last weekend, the first time in a long time. I used to like the place but cant believe how much it has grown. Made me kind of sad actually. Hate to see a nice little town turn into a suburb.

Im firmly in control of my schedule and commuting early does not compute.

I am looking forward to giving those oxbow lakes a work over. May not be anything there as I never see anyone out fishing them.

Yep it is sad. Like Sugar Land, I expect Fulshear to be nothing more than a suburb of Houston in 20 years.

The only negative right now is Traffic, going East of Fulshear. 1093 has non-stop developments from Grand Parkway to Fulshear and IT'S STILL ONLY 1 LANE!!!!! Yes, I'm yelling......out of frustration. My father lives out there and its ridiculous that they haven't made if more than a 2-lane road 5 years ago, much less even started.

Other than that Fulbrook is absolutely beautiful.

I moved to just North of Simonton about 6 mos ago. I always travel North to I-10 and avoid 1093 going into town. It will be nice when Westpark tollway goes all the way to Fulshear. Twin development has plans to start developing all the property they own around there which is quite extensive. A large town square is to be built at intersection of 1489 and 1093. I think a major road is in the plans near Weston Lakes that will tie into Richmond Rosenberg. I do like the area but afraid urban sprawl is coming my way.

there will be a wally-world super center, charbucks, chili's, chick-fil-a, all that jazz @ 1093/1463...

the "town square" of Fulshear area will be 1093 & boise de arc area.

westpark extension has been constantly delayed due to EPA enviromental impact studies. they are terrified they may kill a lizard or frog.

they are currently working on a few new roads from fulshear/CCR area north to I10. they are desperately needed these day.

the "beauty" of living in Fulbrook & Weston Lakes is you can sneak out FM1489 & Pool Hill Rd./359 and hit I10 and not deal w/1093 or 1463.


I have a lot of the future development layouts of the area, in 5-8 years it will look like mason rd area of Katy...
