So me and my wife went to extreme we got there friday met with Caleb and got settled in. The trailer house was nice and comfortable has everything a hunter could want. Caleb explained that it was green with all the rain which he clearly told me before we came but I wasn't worried. I told Caleb he knows the ranch better than me put me where you think the best chance for a exotic..so we headed out for the first hunt.
The pasture was green pulling in exotics everywhere blackbucks, stags, fallow, sika, rams, aoudad. He sets us up and we seen some game in the stand. Basically every species on the ranch.could have ended my weekend every hunt maxing out on what we were allowed to shoot. One hunt I had up to 60 aoudad which several were 20 to 26 inches. My wife got her first bow kill which was a aoudad. Now my mission was a nice blackbuck which Caleb help set me up a spot where we located one.that bucket list check mark was 5 steps away from my clear shooting lane from happening, then his doe busted and ran.
I couldn't be happier from the effort and hospitality Caleb showed me and my wife. Caleb was polite, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about what he's doing. Guys like him are few and far between these days. Plus he has a he'll of a tracking dog we used.
The amount of game of every species is great in numbers and range from nice young ones to trophy caliber.plus they are all real healthy. Caleb if you read this it was a pleasure meeting you from me and my wife thank you and your are welcome at our dinner table anytime.. I will be chasing stags in the fall.
