Sorry for late update. Went to hill country sna. We had the opportunity to shoot a few does but were looking for exotics. We drew area 2 there was supposed to be a black buck and some aoudad running around in 1 & 2. We ended up with one doe and had to cut the hunt short. If we were going after whitetail from the start we probably could have shot them. In area 1 some friends of mine hunted and didn't see any deer but shot some pigs and saw a lot of pig activity. The people in area3 shot all there whitetail. As of the time we left 2&3 were the only areas where deer were shot and even seen. We did see a herd of axis about .25 mile from the gate. The personnel were super nice. Helped with anything any hunter needed. Some of them questioned the fact that there was even a hunt. Because of deer population and I would agree.

Personally no. We did see a group of axis low fence about 1/2 mile from the sna. There have been sightings of audad they said also there is supposed to. E a blackbuck running around 1&2. We didn't see anything except whitetail and hogs.Comment

If the axis are in the area the units up front are what to hope for. Audad and the lone black buck are far in back behind hq. Good luck.Comment
