    NE Texas Welding Crash Course

I've offered this before and taught a few guys how to do it but I just thought I would see if anyone else was interested in learning how to weld. I enjoy teaching people a new trait and how to weld along with the basics of fabricating stuff on a crash course level so I'm offering this to a few guys if your interested in learning. The cost is free and you will know how to set the welder, weld and basic fabrication techniques to save time on building stuff. It wont take long at all to do this and when you leave you "Will" be able to Mig weld and possibly Tig weld if you catch on to mig welding pretty quick. Im doing this for no other reason than to help a brother out that might have previously wanted to learn or has been curious about it. It's truly a neat tool to have in the old memory bank, never know when it might come in handy. It's a pretty neat hobby to get into and you can save yourself a good bit of money building your own hunting stuff, if nothing else it makes you feel good knowing you build that stand or whatever yourself. I think every man needs to know how to weld and its a good notch on the Ol Man Card

If I didn't already "know" how, I would be there to learn. One of the best things i have ever learned how to do.

      Bump for a good gesture.

I "can weld", but I wouldn't say I'm good at it.
I wish it wasn't a 6 hour drive to come up there to Texayankee land.

I'm located in big ol Paris Tx,

Doing this during the week would be better but not a requirement, we could make it happen pretty much any day of the week.

I'd be interested in this too. I'm in Plano - we could carpool out to Paris if you'd want. I work M-F though.

                  Nice offer Ol Thumper!

Thumper if you do this after the first of the year I would sure love to pick up a trick or 10. I am self taught and could sure use some pointers. I would drive down from OKC sometime after deer season if you are still in the mood.

                      Thanks

                      Rick

I would be up for carpooling if Ol Thumper does not mind doing a Saturday or Sunday. I am flexible and can take off in the week if it is easier.

Ol Thumper are those Harbor Freight (Chicago Electric) welders any good. They are MUCH cheaper that the big boys and usually you get what you pay for. I have bought several tools from Harbor freight and it has always been hit or miss
