    Da torch arrows?

I have 29 inch draw shoot about 64 pounds all of my broad heads are 100 grain heads my arrow length is 27 1/4 inch. I have been wanting to go from Easton axis n-fused to the da torch, but I heard they have a different insert. Is this true, also do they require a specific field point for target practice any pros, and cons to the da torch over the axis.

    Thanks

I build arrows and I think the axis are a better arrows and cheaper that's just what I think.

        Thanks

Is that a typo? Your draw 1.75 inches longer than your arrow?

could be if he's shooting an overdraw

I've shot both aarows. They are different arows with different diameters. The da torch arows are very light. I could only imagine your referring to the deep six inserts? You can shoot a 27 inch arrow with a 28.5 inch draw. I shoot a qad and they extend quite a bit behind the burger button allowing you to shoot a shorter arrow. Not advised depending on what broadhead you shoot.

The axis arrow have the "Hit" insert and the torch uses a normal insert that comes out to the front of the arrow. Practice points on axis are 17/64 and the Torch points are 9/32. I've shot the torch for the last 2 years. I like them they are light and straight. I get more speed from my 60 lb bow. We took axis to Africa the first year they came out. Great arrows, killed several animals. Good luck on your pic.

I'm drawing 29" and shooting 28" arrows, have been for some time.

I'm shooting a QAD which places the launcher behind the shelf which is in effect a mini overdraw.

thanks alot for the input think im gonna go with da torch axis have never treated me wrong just figured i would try something else. Also the draw/arrow length it is shorter due the drop away rest mounting off set like the old school over draws did im able to get a shorter arrow then the draw.

I would say Da No. And get some black eagles. I have never liked any Easton Pure carbon shafts.

I like the Easton Hexx with brass inserts. I like adding brass for increased FOC and durability. The same arrow as Da Torch just alittle cheaper. Waddell already has enough money.
