After two LOOOOONG years we are gettin' the heck out of Kingwood and buying a house on 4 acres in Splendora. After being raised in East Tx, this concrete jungle has been traumatizing lol. I am going to need a very large mower (54-60" cut) or a small tractor to take care of this place. It's pretty smooth and is mostly grass with scattered hardwood. After dropping a serious chunk of change on the house and land it'll be a while before I can afford a bigger tractor and the price tag that goes with it. Im gonna go ahead and finance something to keep what little cash I'll have after home purchase but want to stay under 10k (preferably well under). So here is my question. Is it a total waste of money to just buy a mower with a large deck or should I just bite the bullet and buy a cheaper small tractor? I'd love to have a Kubota, Mahindra or Deere etc but budget obviously doesn't allow. So what do y'all recommend?...........................Thread moved to another forum
