1 more spot for Newfoundland moose hunt

    Hey Guys,
We have a group of 3 trad hunters going to Newfoundland in prime rut, Sept 27-Oct 6. Remote fly in camp 1 to 1 guide hunter ratio. Heavy moose population, archery only camp. Inexpensive hunt...($5250, tags included) bear tags also available for only $250 extra.....great to have another trad hunter before open it to wheels...and another Texan would be awesome!

This is one of my Bucket list hunts. Problem is my bucket with the money in it has a hole in right now apparently. I would love to have the information on the outfitter you are using though, if you don't mind.

I agree its a lot of money, but not compared to the ridiculous price of deer leases in Texas. Ive pretty much given up on that.
Alaskan or Western Canada moose hunts run 2-3x more

Bort, pretty normal to call them in within 30 yds, and I hear of lots of 10-15 yd kills.

The name of the outfitter is Conne River Outfitting, David McDonald

You have me very interested. Are the dates you posted the actual hunt dates or does that include the travel days as well?

                    Medicine Man,
Good question, the hunt is 5 days, 6th day if needed. I really haven't paid close attention to the dates other than I assume the start date is concrete. I fly into Gander and fly out next day on bush plane to remote camp.
If interested( and I hope you are) call or email me

214-500-8895, or call David the outfitter directly. He's very easy to get ahold of, but he's French-Canadian.
When I asked about %'s, after the third time, he responded, "oh, you'll get a shot at a moose". Good answer.
He is not charging any more for a bear hunt to be added, and I think he is willing to discount for a 4th trad hunter.

Thanks for the info. I'll check my calendar and see if its even a possibility to swing it.
Sounds like a really good place.

Man, was talking to Flatshooter on Trad Gang about this. I want to do it baaaaaaad, but just can't swing it for this year!

Shiloh, if you don't go on this, let's look at it for next year?

He works at Walmart. It's safe to say he has a job-appropriate spelling level.
