Have seen different variation on making pallet furniture and have been wanting to try my hand at it since we now have a large patio. Got the hook up on some skids from my brother and finished these up yesterday. Really can't beat free!! 
Forgot to take step by step photos but its not really complicated at all. Used 4x4s for the legs (also 2 2x4s nailed together) and pulled wood from various pallets to fill in the gaps to make a solid surface.
Will be purchasing cushions for these here shortly and that will be the only cost associated with them. You also really can't beat the rustic look at them to me!
Width on both pieces is 25".
Length on the "couch" is 95" and the "love seat" is 47.5" (used a double skid and cut the other in half)
Went with these dimensions because of the cushions we want to purchase.
