Has anyone else seen the DVD or videos on YouTube for Turkey Reaping?
Not only is it effective with guns, but they successfully harvest toms sitting behind a strutter with a bow. Toms come so close they can reach out and almost grab them, which they try to do on one of the clips. They use various decoys or 'fans on a stick' I call them, but figured there has to be something better. I used a Thunder Chicken decoy and afixed a mono pod to it. I'm also going to find a way to secure it to the bottom ground section of the stake, so if did want to use a bow I don't have to hold it. This decoy has an easy way of securing a fan, just a flap with a strip of vecro, so I spread the two center feahers with zip strips pulled away from the center, and now I can rest my gun, or shoot through the 'V'. In their hunts they have to shoot from the side of the decoy.
