I order it direct and it was a little over $10 a bag delivered. Are there feed stores that actually carry this stuff in stock?

Ditto. LE gives a bigger discount the more you buy. I think discounts kick in at like ten or twelve tons. Only problem with LE is they don't take credit cards--so no points on purchases.

I think Hallettsville has a store that sells it. Have not asked them or checked how available it is. Thought they said like $10.50-11 a bag

We have been feeding the Hunter's Edge 16% Deer Pellet from Behrends Feed in Fredericksburg at $9.81/Bag cash price and also a discount of $10 off per ton. ($382.40 per ton) Not too bad when your on a budget. They also have a store in Harper TX. Hope this helps

Problem would be who sells it near Houston? I have never heard of it.

Heard so many good things from L&E and the price is pretty solid

Have you contacted them about buying it direct from their place in Poth? Could pick it up on your way to Junction.

I just saw you hunt in Junction and knew it wasn't far from you and Behrends makes there own feed on site. We have had great results in what we use. Discussing differences in proteins is like discussing aging deer. Its never ending, lol. Just trying to help.

Whoever you buy from, ask them if they change their recipe of ingredients throughout the year as commodity prices fluctuate.
