Who Here Shoots A Bow and Likes $$$ ?

Well, I know I do... So, here's the deal. Come join us!!

Cinnamon Creek is proud to announce the 2nd annual "Shootout at Cinnamon Creek Ranch."

This is a fantastic new archery tournament format designed to level the field so that ANYONE CAN WIN!! We wanted to make a tournament format that is as fun to watch as it is to shoot. This format is similar to a 900 round with a few twists. To level the playing field we extend the distances shot for each class. This makes for a much more even playing field where any class can compete head to head with today's top archers.

Guaranteed cash payouts for each class and over $7000 in total prize money to be awarded. We believe this will make it possible for anyone from any class to win the grand prize. Whether you are a 3D, Indoor or FITA style shooter you won’t want to miss the Shoot Out at Cinnamon Creek!!!

    May 18th, 9:00 start time

    1st Place $3000
    2nd Place $1000
    3rd Place $750
    4th Place $500
    5th Place $250

Plus guaranteed money in each class.

    1st Place $100
    2nd Place $75
    3rd Place $50

This year anyone finishing in the top 5 in any division will have an opportunity to shoot their way to the big money. This will allow twice as many people into the Championship Rounds and a chance at the big money.

This is an outdoor shoot. The basic format is similar to that of a 900 round. We handicapped this by extending the distances each class would shoot. This is a 1 day shoot utilizing the 80cm target face. Shooters will shoot 8 rounds of 5 arrows for a total of 40 arrows. Each shooter will shoot 3 rounds at their minimum distance (Example, Male Fixed Pins – 30 yds), 3 rounds from a middle distance (Example, Male Compound Fixed Pins – 40 yds) and 2 rounds from a maximum distance (Example, Male Compound Fixed Pins – 50 yds). Followed by a series of shootouts for the grand prize. In the shootouts each division will shoot from their mid-range. For Example, if a professional shooter was seeded against a Female Compound Fixed Pins shooter, the pro would shoot from 60 yards and the Female Compound Fixed Pins shooter would shoot from 30 yards.

This year we plan on making a few changes. First off, our goal is to make it a shoot where anyone can win. So we want to allow more people the opportunity to get into the head to head shootout. We will have wild card shootouts so that anyone in the top 5 in each division has a chance to shoot their way into the shootout for the grand prize. This will allow 5 times as many shooters at an opportunity to get into the championship round and twice as many people will actually get into the championship shootout.

Humm, are ready to lose $3K? If so- I may be in. Actually if I'm good enough that day I could take 1st-5th.

Joking, however that weekend looks doable. It would probably be like the only bass tourney I've entered- should have donated the cash.
