F&S tackles the WhiskerBuiscuit vs DropAway debate:

    So there ya have it.

Here's the fourth in our seven-part series of tests designed to prove or disprove some common conceptions about compound bows. These tests all appeared in the July issue of Field & Stream, but keep reading for more content exclusive to our website. The Conventional Wisdom The latter is foolproof in the field; the former, with no fletching contract, is faster and more accurate. This is bowhunting's .270 vs. the .30/06 debate. But Wait a Minute What's the real speed and accuracy difference? The Test Comparing a Whisker Biscuit (WB) to a Trophy Taker Smackdown and a Quality Archery Design UltraRestHD on the same bows, we chronographed and shot them on the range.

Very interesting. I will say, as a WB fan, I don't care, I like it and have confidence it will not fail. But I have wondered if I was really missing out.

Good review. I would have thought more affect on accuracy. WB is a great hunting rest although I had a couple that were noisy back in the day and stopped shooting them.

Interesting...I always thought the WB had a greater effect on speed.

There is no denying the biscuit is a good rest, but man they are soo ugly. Why do that to your bow?

Good article. I just think they're kind of noisy, and that's why I use a fallaway.

Im planning on replacing a drop away with a WB for my hog night hunting rig. Hard to screw em up...

KISS in the dark is pretty important!

My thoughts as well but to each his own. Sounds like it comes down to personal preference.

you seen who's holding your bow? and you're concerned your rest is ugly?

That article is not completely true. I don't have to refletch my arrows because I use a WB.

Also, my WB is totally silent.

We have been trying to tell you this for years.
