    Recurve Recommendation

I am looking to make my first recurve bow purchase and have been eyeing the Samick Sage 45#. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I shot a compud or a while but something about trad bows has got me wanting to switch over.

The Sage is a good choice for a starter bow.

$300 for budget but could be swayed a bit more should the features functionality warrant more $$$

x3 The Sage will get the job done as a starter bow and more. Lots of folks have made trad kills with a Sage.

I have had a few nice bows. I bought a light Sage just for fun when my shoulder is sore. I really enjoy that bow. It feels good and shoots well for me off the shelf. You will enjoy almost any modern bow that isn't too short and isn't too heavy.

I am leaning towards the sage not only for price point but I shot one and it felt awesome Only debate I guess I really have now is what # to get but like I said earlier I am leaning toward the 45# option.

If you are just starting in trad shooting, I would recommend that you go no higher than 45#. No let-off can be a bugger!

                        Bisch

I agree with Bisch. Start with a light bow to learn the fundamentals and correct form. Then you can go up in weight and spend more money. I did it backwards and now I'm learning correct form. Good luck, Jeff

Why are you thinking of selling?
