5 of us went there this past weekend and had a blast.The lodge is in new condition and very nice.Great kitchen and seperate rooms and showers.Only a few miles from Castroville in case you need to run into town.The ranch is 1100 acres under high fence.The are several species of game to pick from.On the exotic hunt you can take an Axis buck-27" minimum,Ram,or Blackbuck-17" minimum,doe,and 2 hogs.On the whitetail hunt you can take a buck 4.5 or over ,2 does,and 2 hogs.Game was seen going to and from the blinds as well as during each hunt.Todd will point you in the right direction and was very accomodating.I texted him about a buck I wasn't sure about his age and he gave me the go ahead to shoot.The buck left during the text though.Not a slam dunk hunt.The animals are not stupid but they will present shots if you use the wind correctly.They also have a section called hog heaven where you can hunt hogs at night.I would recommend this place to anyone and we will be going back.
