Pig Stickn' today

Headed out to Rosanky in Bastrop Co. today to try to get into some pigs on my parent's place. I will be taking a "newbie" to the bow hunting world for the first time ever hunt with a bow. This guy is my next door neighbor and also served in our military as a Navy Seal. If you guys have a place to hunt, and can bring a guest, take a Veteran out hunting. Just a way to say "Thanks" to our men and women that served. Will post pics later if we have a kill.

No Piggies. Took a shot at a bobcat but he was behind some yopon and no luck. We still had a good time.

I sold him my "oldie but goodie" Martin Bengal this spring. He's been wanting to go ever since. He told me the last thing he hunted were bad guys. The ones he caught he had to feed. He said that it had been awhile since he hunted something that fed him. Amen!
