Remington 700 makeover

I have a Remington model 700 that was a CDL Stainless Fluted in 7mm Remington magnum that I wanted to make a detachable magazine for some time. I picked a bdl laminate stock for it, along with a detachable magazine & floor plate the other day. The detachable magazine floor plate was about a 1/16" bigger all the way around also so I got the files out. After marking it for the clip release I got to work. Several fittings later it dropped in easily without binding up. I resanded the entire stock and finished it with a satin finish. Turned out better than I'd hoped.
