How small is too small? Food plot

On the new place im hunting this yr, ive got one spot about 50-60yds long by probably 10-12yds wide. Other spot is smaller than that, although i can do more. Any advice on size, what to plant, etc. Its never been hunted.

I planted about 3/4 of an acre. My deer density is low compared to the hill country area.
Those deer tore up my food plot as soon as the growth appeared. I had wire cages that showed about a foot of growth. The deer nipped those too when the plants got high enough.
I planted lab lab, peas, milo, corn and a buck buffet in the Cuero area. I also got rain that year

      Another .02.

Plant as big as you can
Fence it if possible to protect the young plants
If your hunting it, plant strategically for your blinds.
