    Pse dna????

The other half either got a PSE DNA today or is about to get one. Im happy he is finally getting a new bow. But I got on here & ebay and am seeing a lot of them for sale. People barely using them & then getting rid of them.

REVIEWS??? Anyone who has shot one or bought one I would love to hear your thoughts. Just worries me to see a lot of barely used ones for sale.

PS- not looking for people who generally hate PSE giving their general opinion about hating PSE. Thanks!

I have a new one sitting in my bow case. Haven't even had a chance to rig it out yet. So I can't give a reviews. It's very light, and looks awesome. I had a PSE Evo, and it was great. PSE has been some great bows for a while now.

the bow draws well, is light and very fast but the speed comes at a cost with the 6" brace. personally i think folks get it and just can't shoot it. a 6" brace isn't for everybody. they other thing is that it is 70% letoff. if all you ever shot was 80% then going to 70% would be like the holding weight of the 80# peak weight bow.

these probably aren't things most folks would think about at the local pro shop while they have bow fever. however, once you bring it home and have to live with it might seem like a bad relationship. a lot of people buy on impulse, then realize its just not for them.

personally i like it but a short brace bow and higher holding weight is not a problem for me. it is a great bow and a lot of people really like it, me being one of them.

Here's what folks are saying on AT. Take it for what it's worth.

I shoot an Elite Judge, which has a 6" brace height. First, I shoot Blazers for fletching, a long fletching would not fit since it would hit my Ripcord Code Red drop away rest. Second, he'll need to be more aware of his grip when shooting, the low braceheight just is more sensitive to hand torque.

I can give you the name and phone # of my local bow store who carries PSE and Mike is as honest as the day is long if you wanted to speak with somebody who would have an opinion.

I was excited to try a 6" BH bow, shot great at the bow shop... spent to much money on one rigging it out and shot it one day before I sold it. I have always shot a 6.75"+ BH and won't shoot anything shorter ever again. Not really sure what it is that I don't like about them but 7"+ BH seems to fit ME better. I have heard nothing but good about the DNA but won't even look at one myself because of the brace height. PSE makes great bows... That's just my .02

              Buyers remorse in most cases.

Its common, and not just with this specific bow. That's why its so important to shoot all the bows you can get your hands on before buying.

Like said above, the bow is light and fast, but speed comes with a.stiffer drawcycle and a slight hump on the.end.

No kidding I sold my bow... Bought a new one, hated it after 2 weeks. Sold it bought another but used, hated the 6" BH, so I sold it. Bought back the one I sold for the same price but lost about $100 on shipping. Just make sure the bow you/ he gets really is the one he wants...

I recently bought a very slightly used 65 pound DNA from a fellow TBH'r. It was maxed out at 67 pounds. I backed it off to 64, I really wanted to stay with a 60 pound bow but made a good deal on this one so here I am.

I love mine but I will say they're not for everyone. You know your drawing a speed bow and it takes a bit more focus when at full draw as its 70% let-off and ready to launch.

Some don't like the grip or lack of, it works for me. Within a few shots, I was shooting as good as I've shot with any bow. I wanted it for the speed with a 400 grain arrow so you know you're going to have some trade-offs to get that.

With this single pin sight, I can set it at 25 yards and be good out to 35.

Here's my first 70 yard group I shot with it a few days after setting it up.

Very good group at 70!! thanks for all the input guys. I really appreciate it. I think he is going to go for it. He told me he could see why it's not for the mass majority of people, but he really liked the way it shot. He's shooting a PSE X Force now. So I am excited he's getting something newer! And that new SKULLWORKS graphics wrap is pretty sweet too.

With all bows its about what the person shooting it thinks... not everyone else. I am also a fan of the skullworks pattern, its awesome. PSE makes great bows.

Did he buy it? Just curious if he checked out the revenge? Short bow with a great price!

I have one coming, its a custom version, but I heard the factory version is extremely nice for 650 bnib.
