Awesome ranch, very nice people. Ask to stay in one of the trailers they have or to stay up at Lisa Bakers house. She has a room that sleeps 10-12 people. They usually prefer one large group there. Drop me a personal email and I can give you some gps locations that i have seen axis at during my hunts. We had hunted that ranch over 10 years. They like to travel along the high embankments along the low side. House pasture, 1000 acre pasture, are good pastures to hunt. Good Luck. jaypatterson1@hotmail.com

My in-laws and some friends go there every year in October. They always have a good time and take quite a few animals. I'm going for the first time this October. We're staying up at Lisa's house. I can't really tell you much about the June hunt other than It's going to be HOT and watch out for rattlers. You are probably aware that in Rocksprings there's not many trees other than mesquite. I was told to bring a good tent blind and brush it up real good or bring a tripod stand.

Has anyone said how you will determine where you hunt? We are hoping it is first come first served for stand sites.

From what I understand, it is first come first serve on stand site. For instance, Our hunt in October is a three day hunt (2 on fri, 2 on sat, 1 sun morning) and we'll get there on thursday at noon. That let's you get set up where you are staying and then go scouting for you spot.
