    Stress lines on old bow

I was thinking about buying this late 60's model Bear Kodiak bow and wanted opinions on whether these are stress lines or not. Thanks.

yes, the one running with the length of the bow are stress cracks but do not look bad. The ones running "across" the limbs is just the finish crackling, not into the fiberglass, just the finish. Like others have said still a lot of life in it. Here is a link to one I restored for another TBHer

If you ever think you'd like to have it restored I'd love the opportunity to talk with you about it.

              Thanks for the input everyone.

Matt, I remember your Recurve restore thread. That was some awesome work you did! I have not bought the bow, but If I do and decide to restore it I will certainly let you know. Thanks!

Agree with the other guys, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with that bow. I have a a magnum that i restored that that had the ugly finish crack. I think that it was a Ku serial number. I am retipping a 59 Kodiak Special and it has none of the finish crack almost no stress cracking in the glass. Strange how some of the newer bows show finish problems that aren't common in the bows ten years older.
