Pictures from ASA Qualifier at Eastland

Thanks You Texas ASA shooters !!!!! You guys, gals, and kids have set another attendance record!!!! We had 204 shooters for the weekend at Cross Timbers Archery Club in Eastland, Texas. We had 33 kids competing this weekend which is totally awesome. ASA has been here in Texas since 1999 and this is the largest shoot we have had to date.

    2006 Eastland Qualifier 77 shooters
    2007 Eastland Qualifier 101 shooters
    2008 Eastland Qualifier 204 shooters

3D archery is alive, well, and growing in Texas !!!!!!

Thank You Cross Timbers Archery Club for your great effort and Thank You Texas ASA shooters.

        A Few More Eastland Pics

Tough open shot. The wind was making this one difficult. Lots of 8's, 5's and several 0's on this one.

Hoytgirl13 (Tiffany.....aka Pinkie) did not like the results on this one. This was one (very few) of the closer targets and everyone was gunning for the 12. Tiff shot a little low.

Thanks to the concession crew for the great food. They had two Rangers running the course delivering hambergers and drinks all day.

The wind pushed my arrow right in the five ring on this target. LOL

I flat missed this bear and my arrow was almost in the road behind the target. I knew my day was going to be rough because this should have been an easy target.

Anybody else have to hold up because of the 4 wheelers racing right behind the target?
