Several years ago,(about the time I started making bows.) I had a buddy named Ray Owen. He made some really good bows. Ray got out of the bow building business and its been sometime since I have seen him.
Fellow I used to contract furniture business from ( I was a furniture make in another life) bought a left handed Hill style longbow from him and shot it maybe 50 times. Just wasnt into it.
He is all retired up now and moving to Florida to enjoy his retirement and asked if I might be able to help him sell this bow. I said sure.
The bow is 68" long, I think 63 lbs at 28" and in basicly mint condition. He wants $175 solid for the bow.
I am doing this as a favor and dont want to have to ship it.
Anyone interested call me. It is a really good deal for a lefty who wants a very long and fairly heavy bow.
Will post pics if I can get around to it. Red elm limbs and Coco riser.
