    Flounder boat build

Over the last few months I have been busy working on a flounder boat for a buddy of mine we started with a bare hull and built a custom gigging boat. Finally got to get her wet this afternoon to test things out.

Looking forward to sticking some fish but with the wind blowing like it is no chance we just went out this afternoon to see how it all handled the air motor did great steering was better then we expected.

Nice rig. Do you have white or green lights?

It is a 1870 alweld has a 60 Etec on it and the air motor is a 9.5hp. The outboard could have more hp but he was not concerned with speed. The air motor did better then we hoped for in that high wind yesterday we could go into the wind with no problem and have good control. Thanks guys

The front has a 2 bulb 48" flourescent with one white and one green on the corners he has 2 75watt halogens. Have not seen the lights on the water yet but at the house we feel like it will be enough he also added 2 small Rigid Industies LEDs on the front if needed. It is all 12 volt light system.

We used to run the green fluorescents and they're not very bright, but they penetrate the water very well and you won't get a glare if its a little choppy like you do with white lights. Also penetrates off colored water better.
