    School me on blemished arrows

What exactly does that mean? I read on AT that it's a cosmetic deal that doesn't effect the performance. Is that right? So, if I buy half a doz 1535s from eBay, will they match up well with my existing blemished 1535s?

That's one of soooo many questions. Feeling pretty dumb right now.

Blems are just that, cosmetic only. That is all I shoot in carbons I think Big Jims archery sells blems for around $45.00 when he has them in stock.

      It means the following:

      1. They might be ugly out of the box
      2. They shoot just like the purdy ones do
      3. They are cheap
      4. They shoot just like the purdy ones do
      5. They sell out fast so buy em when you find em

I have never used blems but everything I have read says it is just cosmetic and the arrows should perform the same as the non-blems.

All the hogs I shoot with them, hate it so much it kills them !!
They are Graphic misprints, That's it. they can't sell them as perfect select shafts. I have like 2-3 doz left. I got mine for $25.00 a dozen so I bought like 6 dozen.

I bought plenty from Big Jim and have had no problems with them. That's all I shoot and hunt with. Can't beat the price!

I shoot blemished 35/55 goldtips. Can't find anything wrong with them. Saved some $$ though.

My blems look better than my other GT Trad 7595's.
Probably cuz my others are several years old.

Seriously though - I can't tell any difference in them, and they look just fine.

That's good to know. I just checked out with the 1535s. I him hawed about getting the 3555s. I'm borderline with my 25" arrows, if I went up to a heavier point. I emailed them to say I will confirm the arrow length tonight - I'm second guessing that too!

                            Lynda,
If in doubt, email Big Jim(or Call) on what arrow you will need. He's very helpful on length of arrow or spine of arrow. Or ask here...there's people on here that know's way more than I.
