    Invasion vs. Insanity vs. Experience

I currently shoot a Invasion and was considering a change.

I was hoping for some GS feedback on a comparison of these three bows. If you have shot at least two of the three can you let me know your pro's and cons'? Which do you prefer? It would be great if someone had shot all three, but with the experience being so new I know that isnt likely.

    Thanks.

Let me add the DT 350 to the list. I know it has a lot of fans also and I am sure there is a reason.

I have heard from the bow tech here that the insanity has a tuneing issue and that it comes out of tune easily.. Also heard the limbs have a finish problem and that the paint chips and flakes off... Although when i went an tested one out i loved it i would buy it over the helium...

Caint go wrong with the d350 though its still the best that bowtech has come out with imo

I liked the Insanity over the Invasion, so that is what I bought. I have never shot the D350, so I can't say anything about that. You may look at the Assasin as it is a lot of bow for the money.

The finish on my Insanity is flaking but as far as tuning issues mine is good there. My broadheads fly with my fieldtips out to fifty yds. The way to tune them is a pain because you have to have a bow press to do it.

I've shot an Insanity for over a year now and love it....I shoot at 29 inches and 71 lbs. It is blazin fast. It has a little more weight and is a bit longer over all compared to the Insanity......

I will say this....If you are contemplating these two, consider the new Experience as well. It has an extra inch of brace height over the Insanity and a much smoother draw cycle. It is also more quiet and a little slower, but still plenty fast. I wasn't expecting to care about this bow much, but after shooting it, I loved it!

I shoot a Specialist for target and wouldn't trade it for anything!

So are you using Brutal as a good or bad review?

I (personally) would never even consider an Invasion, I think it's horrible on all accounts compared to the other two.
THe INsanity and Experience are both very sweet, with the Insanity only being about 10 fps faster, even though the rating is 20 fps faster.
I will always opt for the added inch of BH, over the 10 fps.
If I wasn't even more fond of the Assassin, I'd pick an Experience myself.

Horrible? Thats a pretty tuff review. Have you had a chance to shoot the Experience yet? My understanding is that it corrects the flaws of the insanity, but with a slower fps. I completely agree with the larger brace height opinion. I wold lose the 10 fps to gain the inch. As long as I liked the draw cycle equally on both.

Yes, I have an Experience in the shop, and I've shot it quite afew times, (even though it usually only takes me 1 or 2 shots to determine if I like a bow or not), and it's not much different than the Insanity, only rated more accurately (IBO speed), and the added inch of BH.
AS far as the INvasion. I sell Bowtech bows exclusively. I think the INvasion is horrible.

How forgiving do you feel the Insanity is with the 6" brace height compared to other bows you have shot? Is accuracy an issue?

I like my invasion. Shoots accurate, fast, and is dead silent.

The experience is a **** sweet bow! Not much different than invasion on paper but god it is smooth, and the d350 is a great bow but I would take the insanity over it all day long. IMO it would be between insanity and experience depending on what you want out of your bow. The limb paint for the insanity does have a ware issue but it does not hinder performance at all and if you keep good care it is very minimal. Tuning for it is not difficult. You can yoke tune it entirely( need the press). It's a shame the riser on the experience is so ugly though ;p
