Can you post a picture if the top jaw. It's hard to say why he was rubbing so bad in that one side. Deer can have a preference what side they chew their food with but I wonder if he had something wrong with his top teeth to make it rub like that.

One tooth was broke and missing, and the tooth next to it was loose. Threw it away already so no biggy if you cant tell. Thanks for the response.
