    First X Bow kill

Hello All! I'm new to the forum, a few friends of mine have gotten me interested in bow hunting, seeing as i have an upper limb "disability" I'm restricted to a crossbow. so i picked up a Barnett Jackal at academy, sighted it in and hit the woods. After obtaining my Lavon permit of course I received a tip on an old ladder stand i should check out. i spread a gallon sized freezer bag of corn about 10-30 yards out, got settled in this past Sunday about an hour or so before dark. Alone in the solitude of the crisp cold-front rolling in, quite windy. didn't think i would see much or even hear anything, low and behold around 6:30-6:45pm i hear leaves moving, i waited patiently as the sound grew closer and closer, it was pitch black. i could see the silhouette of what appeared to be a very large pig about 50 yards out against the color of the dead leaves on the ground. My Heart started RACING! It made a B-Line straight to the corn. then 5 more followed. I was under the influence of the highest adrenaline rush I've ever had. I sat up straight from my slouching position, and waited for about 10 minutes for all of them to get settled in and munchin good. I do not have a kill light on my Jackal as of yet, however this will change very soon, they're on the way. I raised up my X Bow picked out the unfortunate one that had turned broadside on me and gently squeezed the trigger. The sound of quad limbs echoed throughout the woods, as a herd of hogs all bolted in the same direction. Grinning from ear to ear about a hundred yards out or so i heard a loud crash and 3 blood curdling shrieks in a row. Perhaps the last breaths of this feast? I waited a few seconds to gather my thoughts, climbed down the ladder stand and checked my Lumenok 20" bolt with a Magnus 125Grain buzzcut firmly threaded to the end, the fletchings were soaked in blood. clean pass i thought to myself. I immediately called ChickenWilly for assistance in tracking, he brought along another friend who's username escapes me now. I heard rustling leaves once again as soon as i hung up the phone, I climbed back up into the ladder stand at hopes of possibly slaying another hog. With some help from my TBH Brethren we successfully tracked my hog. I'm still stoked for this being my first X bow kill and the biggest hog I've ever taken.
