I have frightened up plenty, as I don't hunt over a feeder. I just spot stalk. I've jumped more under ten yards than I have the heart to admit. It is tough, but it is also pretty intense to know that you were basically in their bedroom. I had a doe at four yards behind me last season, and I had my bow resting beside me. Couldn't move. She looked right through me and kept walking. I grabbed my bow when she was ten yards away from me, and I even was able to knock an arrow. While drawing, a buck that was with her snorted, and they both bolted.
