QAD Ultra Red LD

First time its happened since i've had the rest. When I use the thumb lever it won't lock in the up position now. Is this a serviceable part. Or am I looking at having to replace?

I'm figuring QAD Is going to want you to send it back to them. I'm pretty sure that mechanism is a sealed unit.

Not quite a sealed unit can for sure be serviced. But a not a job for everyone. It sounds like it has been improperly installed and its damaged the small mechanism inside that holds the rest. QAD has very extremely good customer service and will take care of you. Its easier to replace it than to fix it.
