I like my Garmin 62s very much. Simple to use pretty fast and accurate.

Get the least expensive Garmin eTrex or other brand. No maps to mess with, it does two things real good- where you are, and where you want to be. No frills, no PITA learning curve. best, less than a hundred.

If you have an iPhone, check out the app GPS kit. It works great!!

I've got both an eTrex Legend and a 60cx. Both work quite well. The 60cx gets satellite lock much faster than the legend, but it is also much larger and flew off the back of my truck once (long story). The eTrex is usually what I use when I'm going out in the woods, and the 60cx lives in a RAM mount for my motorcycle.

                  Would the eTrex 20 work?

Garmin 60csx. Works great, never had it fail to pull signal. Use GPSFileDepot side to download map sets, as Garmin's are just too expensive, and these are free. Very good for the offroad hiking and hunting I have done...

I recently bought the etrex vista h when academy had it on sale for $99, from 150 original. Nothing fancy about it really, but the thing has gotten me to my trees and mud wallows I've found with pinpoint accuracy. I was amazed come opening morning that it put me dead on my tree without any margin of error at all, I was at the base of that tree. My phone apps were worthless, they said I was 25 miles away in a neighborhood.
