Excuse my ignorance on this... If a person is shooting lets say "3 inch groups", does that mean three inches edge to edge or three inches in any direction from center? In other words, diameter or radius?
If its bullets its measured center to center for obvious reasons. The different sizes of calibers. If it was edge to edge it would be awfully hard for a .308 Target Rifle to shoot a .250 group.

Arrows i reckon you can call it what you want.
I think he means center of target, not center of hole
radius is straight across the center... 3" radius, I think... but I could be FOS...
come to think of it... I go with diameter too... forget the radius remark.
Follow this link to Hunter's Friend - Bottom of page - Range Testing. When they talk about range testing RTH bow packages, they clearly show it as Diameter, not radius.
