Granger WMA Dove Hunting

Has anyone ever hunted dove out of Granger? The Booklet says

Dove: Each day of the Central Zone.

What does Central Zone mean?

Anyone can give me advice on general area I should go to or a ranger I should contact to get more information?

Central zone starts September first and runs through Oct 24 and starts up again in December for 3 weeks or so.

Not 100% positive but pretty close

And I've never hunted there, good luck

Central Zone is generally between I-10 and I-20... never hunted there..

Try the nort side of the lake off of fm971. Doppler radar area early season.later in the season try near the river
