Not sure if there's a website to turn em in electronically! We've always done snail mail for ours!

You can print out the applications on line from the public hint section of the TPA website, but you still have to fill them out, write a check and mail them in. You may miss Archery deadline, but you still have time for most of the gun hunts. They draw a few days after deadlines and will mail you a post card with the selection results. You will either get a postcard of "non selection" or a letter confirming you were selected and the details on when to submit the rest of the fee for the hunt. Keep an eye on the green screen when they do the draws and you will see when they have drawn. There's a TPW 800 number you can call after they have drawn to check your status and you don't have to camp out at the mailbox waiting for an result. Good luck to you.

When crossbows became legal in the archery season, TPWD really messed up our archery draw hunts. Now, alot of permits are split between archery only gear and crossbows. So now at the places I always put in for, I don't have near the chances of gettin drawn. Other words, if you are competing with crossbow hunters on a WMA draw hunt, you might be collecting a few more points!!

so how do the "points" work? how many does it take? Can you buy points if this is your first year to put in for the draw?
