got my 1988 running again and now iam getting a 25 code on the check engen,any ideas could my time still be off

Did you check to see if the Air/Fuel ratio is too lean?

That code on a 88 with a V6 3.0 indicates it's air/fuel too lean issue.

Normally it's caused by a bad O2 sensor. You have to check the sensor's and replace the bad one(s) or you have a bad injector on one of the cylinders. With that said, normally it's the oxygen sensor, and that controls the air fuel mixture. Go buy you a Haynes manual and get started.

got one... its proble the o2 sencor ,but i still need a timing light to make shure its on the mark.

You can borrow a timing light from Autozone. U will have to put a deposit down but they give that back to you once you return it.
