    Scoop for "The Chap"?

I'm heading down to Chaparall WMA this weekend for a management hunt with my 17 year old. I know a few members of this site have gone down there. Can anybody drop me a few hints and let me know how things work down there?

I've hunted the Mare unit twice.

If they give you a choice of which half of the unit I'd take the north half and probably hunt the north fence line where the big gully cuts through.

I shot, at that time, the second heaviest Javelina ever taken there.

Or so they said. It was big. See my Avatar.

I counted over 50 crossing under the high fence. I shot a bigger one.

There were even bigger ones in the group!

If you get the south half I'd hunt the south fence line. You'll see hogs rooting on the private property next door.

Any one of the senderos they have cut through the unit is a good place to scout and get a shot.

There are plenty of nice bucks running around. Make sure he's a management
    buck!

I'd to have to pay their fine.

Thanks for the info. The last thing I need is a fine!

Plan on shooting does, javalina's and hogs. We went on the mgmt archery hunt (7 pt or less) and they said that there might be a "handful" of deer less than 8 on the whole place due to excellent conditions this year.
