    Another Lightroom 4 Question

I was looking for a good guide to get started on Lightroom 4, and I've seen a few mention Lightroom 4, The Complete Guide for Photographers. I was reading the reviews on Amazon, and everyone says it's a great, thorough guide, but probably overwhelming for beginners not familiar with Lightroom. There is another one, that isn't released yet that sounds good, The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 Book for Digital Photographers, but again, not released yet. Do any of you that have the Complete Guide for Photographers think it's to much for someone just starting out with the software? I'm wanting to learn more about it but not finding much.

You are correct that it is a bit much to take on cold out of the gate.

I have found that there are plenty of good "lightroom for beginners" videos om youtube that help ease the pain in small doses of learning.

When you get some free time I'd surf a few of them.

Go to the Adobe Lightroom website, there are a lot of training videos on using LR there which are very good.

Thanks guys, I'll check those out. I went ahead and bought the Kindle version of Complete Guide for Photographers just to check it out. The electronic version isn't expensive. There was a section on settings that was very useful though.
